<description>&lt;p&gt;have you been to new york lately (aka in the last ten years)? all those cute coffee shops on every corner are called STARBUCKS.  totally not even a joke about the proliferation of starbucks, i just couldn&apos;t even believe that it was actually true even after i saw it.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

<description>&lt;p&gt;Most salons that do training have days where you can get free or discounted cuts. i know that Toni &amp; Guy and Visible Changes in the mall(s) have specific training days where they give haircuts and/or color for a discounted price. Most higher end salons give free bang trims, as well, though most other places charge about $5, which is pretty close to free.

Just remember, just because the cut/color is free or discounted, doesn&apos;t mean you shouldn&apos;t tip your stylist at least a few bucks for their time (if you like it, of course). A lot of the time, those people are getting paid close to minimum wage (most of the time, they are apprenticing, not actually working on the floor yet, so they make very little money), and $3 is a treat and helps them buy lunch or something during the day.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
