When my father was diagnosed with Alzheimer's in 1970 few people outside of the Medical community knew about it. When he died in 1989, it was known as the 7th leading cause of death in the US. For you Generation X and Next Generation folks, this could be a good introduction to what faces you when your Baby Boomer parent(s)develop it. People ask me why I smoke with all the health risks.
