Oh, for Christ's sake, the impact on the water table of the decomposition of a few human bodies is nothing in comparison to the decomp from the thousands of raccoons,deer, birds, squirrels, rabbits, etc... you get the point, I hope, compared to a few human corpses. The effect on the flight plans from circling vultures is a valid concern, but damn, people die. Shouldn't our universities study the how and why? BTW, I went to a charismatic Baptist university in a town about 100 miles north of Austin with an exceptional forensics program. I for one wholeheartedly support Texas State in their body farm endeavor.

Well I probably live in a different universe than you, where different symbolism rules, and in my universe I don't think it's fair to blame vultures for *avarice*. Bird's gotta eat ya know.

We've got bodies loaded with formaldehyde decomposing into our water source. I think I'd prefer the natural type as long as I don't have to smell them.
