Your Mother.

If you are still on the fence about what to get Mom for Mother's Day - newsflash - it's Sunday. Here are a few of our favorite ideas:

momtrophy.bmp1: Mom trophy! Because, seriously, you were a bit of a pain in the ass.

2: John Derian plates in case she deserves a little more fancy in her life.

lbjwildflower.jpg3: A garden tour at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center because you know she is into that kind of stuff.

4: Preserve biodiversity and promote sustainable, organic agriculture - order her seeds from Seeds of change.

5: Surprise her with a locally made glass objet d'art from Parts and Labour.

6: With Tiffany and Co, Macy's, Neiman's, Apple, Sur la Table, The Steeping Room, LaCoste and unexpectedly good people watching, a Domain gift card might be in order.

fearless.jpg7: We love the Fearless Critic culinary guide. Buy her a copy, tell her to dog-ear her favorite choice and, here's the genius part: take her there. Do not let her pay.

10: How about a cooking class at Central Market Cooking School or the Whole Foods Culinary Center? She gets dinner and maybe a little wine and has a good time. You get to eat something other than the same old same old the next time you pop in for a visit.

11: Consider a gift certificate to the Austin Wine Merchant or Vino Vino. Drink up, Ma. Just be classy about it.

12: Ann Kelso Salon Mani/Pedi. We hate to sound cliche, but a little luxury goes a long way. Especially in Mom World.
