None of the above. One of Music's primary functions is social cohesion. I'll still listen to what I like (and what leaves a lot of other people cold).

Sadly, this seems to be pretty dead on... even for those who count themselves as hip or indie. Maybe they can stick someone in a room full of records for a year, with no outside contact, bringing new releases every week, and see what they choose.
