Austinist Show Giveaway: OHN and Lila's Medicine at Karma Lounge
The thought of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland usually conjures up a variety of memories and images, be it fantasy lands or magic mushrooms. Ayers Designs and a couple of local electronic acts are throwing a shin-dig tied to that theme, and we want you there. Just fill out the form below for a chance to be transported down the rabbit hole of OHN’s down-tempo electronica, as well as Lila’s Medicine. Mind altering substances not included but expect outrageous costumes and decorations as seen at past Mad Hatter events.
OHN’s third release, Revolutionary Revolution, sees the versatile act combine electronica with assorted instrumentation to arrive at an exotic blend of beats that soothe and stimulate alike. Recorded at Goliath Studios in Austin, the album was produced by band members Bildeaux (Bill Sarver) and Bob Amonett. There’s a bit of everything on Revolutionary Revolution-- OHN floats effortlessly between laid back melodies and upbeat tempos. Throw in some DJ style scratching, regular intervals of funk n’ soul, with a bit of dashing guitar all set to crispy clean production and one can take their own flight of fancy to Karma Lounge.
