2110 Birthday Party Tomorrow

What a difference a year makes.

Since settling into their stylish digs, the local stores at 2110 South Lamar have turned the former site of an old furniture warehouse into one of Austin's hippest destinations for boutique shopping and getting your hair done, rocker style.

Tomorrow, the shops have teamed up to celebrate their first anniversary--ok, so many haven't been around for a full year, but the building itself debuted around this time in 2006--with day-long discounts on products and services (ask for the "2110 Building Premiere") followed by a rockin' evening party.

With Brazilian music specialists The Russell Scanlon Duo playing on the front deck, the various 2110 businesses--Birds Barbershop, downStairs Apparel, Legendary Beads, Roost, Sentient Services, The Waxing Studio, Violet Rouge and 365 Days, 365 Ways--will be offering various and sundry giveaways and complimentary drinks.
