Take Part in Future Plan for Barton Springs Pool

City of Austin wants to hear your feedback on the future of Barton Springs, especially what you think should warrant priority status as short- or long-term projects.

The Barton Springs Pool Master Plan meeting takes place at 6pm tonight at Austin City Hall, with city officials and professional consultants on hand to listen to members of the public. Everyone who wishes to speak will be given three minutes.

The information received will be prioritized, evaluated and costs associated with these items will be listed as short- or long-term projects. The short-term projects will be presented to City Council for review in early summer. The Barton Springs Master Plan is expected to be finalized by the end of summer, then presented to City Council for approval.

Honestly, I just want them to keep the damn thing clear and clean. I could care less about any "improvements."
