Make Them Listen, Austin

59096332_5f0315219a.jpgTomorrow, across the country, people are going to be gathering to encourage the gov't to take decisive action on global warming. The organizers of this action, one of whom is climate change prophet Bill McKibben, say that there are 1,367 separate rallies planned for tomorrow across the country. One of those will be in Austin, in front of the Statehouse at noon.

Convinced, like all scientists and most sentient beings, that global warming is a reality? Take the bus downtown tomorrow and show your legislators you mean business.

Flyer and schedule after the jump!

Statehouse? It's called the capitol, Damn Yankee.
In america.
oh yea...

Held during tax weekend. Nice symbolism.

I was there and was surprised at the small turnout. The speakers where great and deserved a bigger crowd. It might have been the wind that kept people away. It was pretty strong...
