For Those Who Know We're Blue, Peel

This Friday the 13th may finally be known for something more than a retired 80's horror movie franchise. Peek-a-Boo Records and the Beauty Bar have teamed up for a grandiose CD release party of Peel's debut album. The self-titled work has been heralded as a truly magnificent work as their songs roar with a joyful noise of youth's enthusiasm and colorful complex orchestrations.

Along with Peel are a couple of the best bands Austin has ever produced: The mighty Til' We're Blue And Destroy will bring their wild and infectious pop spectacle to the dance floor, and For Those Who Know, now back from their national tour, will captivate hearts with their epic new dazzling dream pop tunes. After Friday, they will have to add a new layer of glitter to the walls.

I think For Those Who Know is a good band, but spare the hyperbole ("best bands Austin has ever produced")! Leave the mindless boosterism to the Austin Chronicle.
