Yo La Tengo Show Won't Be Rescheduled

yo_la_tengo_1.jpg As promised, Austinist has followed the developments surrounding Yo La Tengo's show cancellation last Saturday at Stubb's. At this time, the band is not rescheduling the show that was scheduled for April 7. Ticket holders are encouraged to contact Front Gate tickets to inquire about refunds. Our contest winner is now the lucky owner of a pair of tickets to see Blonde Redhead and Annuals at Stubb's on May 2.

The show the band had scheduled for last Saturday was canceled due to the poor and unseasonably cold weather, and fans have been patiently waiting for news of a reschedule since Sunday morning, but as of right now, it doesn't look like they'll be coming through again any time in the near future. Their remaining tour dates are primarily on the east coast, and unfortunately none of them are reasonable driving distance for hardcore fans that were anxious to see new material performed live. Austinist will be keeping tabs on new tour dates in the event that more dates are added later, so stay tuned!
