True Stories Can Be Stranger Than Fiction [Extra Extra ]
Those of you trying to access Austinist over the weekend were likely met with a frustrating blank screen. We're totally sorry about that. While we'd love to blame this temporary outage on terrorists and/or a vast underground conspiracy by internet-hating mole men, the true explanation contains cryptic words and phrases like DNS and server upgrade. We won't bore you with the details, but suffice it to say that this weekend's lack of -IST won't be a repeat performance. Thanks for your patience, and all of your gracious emails!
