This could be the most fun and entertaining free party at SXSW and I'm working until 2pm, then a Doctor's visit to get Rxs for the Pecan Pollen (I'm so allergic it can send me into anaphylactic shock)then to see my favorite female band, The Trucks at 5pm.
No, I'm not going to tell you where they are playing today. They will be at the Big Red Sun 12-6pm Non-SXSW Showcase on Cesar Chavez at 5pm on Friday. Okay,you happy now? I've told you about a show that has gotten Zilch press.
What's the mayor gonna do for 15 minutes?
I just went over and everything looks great - excellent crowd, kickass bands. The mayor gave a very nice speech about promoting live music in Austin. Nice work by Allen and everyone else who made this happen.
