While we're thoroughly engrossed in all matters SXSW, the Drafthouse just sent out a brand new trailer for Master Pancake Theater's upcoming lampooning of Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome.

The concept was all about blending the old Volkswagen commercial that used the Nick Drake Pink Moon song with Mel Gibson's maniacal driving to see what would happen if Mad Max had actually been a car commercial aimed at the lucrative market of underemployed 22-30 year olds who appreciate indie music and like driving away from parties so they can try to catch floating white things in the air as they cruise around a beach at night. Trust me, it only lasts a minute and it will brighten your day.
