Jenna Bush Inks Book Deal
Reformed hard-partying first daughter and UT Austin grad Jenna Bush has just signed to HarperCollins to publish what's being billed as a "young-adult, narrative non-fiction project."
Though having spent less than half a year as an intern with UNICEF's Educational Policy department in South America, the former elementary school teacher found inspiration in the children of Central and South America. She now teaches at a shelter in Panama.
"These young people have faced extreme hardships and exclusion but are strong in spirit and have an incredible will to succeed," said Bush. "Through their stories, it is my hope to motivate young Americans to increase their awareness of other young people around the world: to learn about the challenges they face, how they triumph over adversity, and to become involved in helping them."
The project, entitled Ana's Story: A Journey of Hope, will focus on the story of a seventeen-year-old single mother living with HIV.

NO WAY!
Jenna Bush can write? Like letters and stuff? Un-b-lee-va-bull.
Don't forget Austin High graduate, as well.
I remember hearing some credible stories about sex in the governor's mansion, while wearing the gubenatorial robe, raiding the mansion's liquor cabinet--graciously provided by our tax dollars.
"A seventeen-year-old single mother living with HIV"? That sounds miserable on every level. How about the story of a seventeen-year-old Texas girl who likes to kick back a few Bud Lites getting thrust into a national spotlight through no act of her own? That might be worth reading.
Now let's not drag Bud Light's name into this.

Reformed hard partying? Really? I think that deserves a sly strikethrough.
"young-adult, narrative non-fiction project." Yawn. Wake me up when Barbara signs a deal for a Romance/Erotica novella...
God help us all...
nice how this announcement coincides with bush's tour of south america. (vomit)
ALL of you shut the **** up and give her some credit... and get a life while you're at it
"credible stories about...gubenatorial robe..."
WTF is a "gubenatorial robe"? I think that takes the credibility right out of any stories.
