Wind was great this year. Too much wind if anything. It was just a perfect day, blue sky, hundreds of kites, skyline in the background, lots of laid-back people. I hear even the shuttle worked out for folks. Don't try to drive to events in Zilker - it's not worth the stress. We walked and that made it even more fun.

Roy, It was much better than last year. I remember there was no wind last time and it was really upsetting for a lot of people. I remember being able to count the number of kites in one hand. Yesterday, it did change direction a lot which made for some lines getting crossed, but this year it definitely was strong enough to keep even the big ones up.

How was the wind this year? Last year the wind was dead, and the festival was mostly a bust... good kettle corn, though.
