All You Need is Love ... And a Little Heart

Just after the start of the new year, we were devastated to learn that Austinist reader and all-around kind soul Heather Haenes was involved in a tragic car accident, of such severity that doctors were forced to remove both of her lower legs. Now, after a succession of complex surgeries, Heather faces months of painful physical and mental therapy and ever-increasing medical bills.

Luckily, friends and family have rallied together to form the Heather Haenes Fund, in order to help alleviate some of the financial burden. Tonight, they've put together a fantastic gala benefit to take place concurrently at Saba Cafe, Cedar Street, and Malaga. "Heather Love Fest" includes sets by Dan Dyer & Friends, John Pointer, Govinda, Ephrain Owens, BIGFACE, DJ Mahealani, The Super Sonic Soul Squad, DJ Manny, DJ Chicken George, Blu Sanders, DJ Chris, DJ Trey Lopez, and Sonia, plus an enormous raffle and silent auction with items from dozens of local stores.
