Austin: Greener Than Al Gore and Melissa Etheridge Combined

According to the Austin Business Journal, we're home to seven of these forward-looking paragons of environmental innovation, including startups developing wind and geothermal energy technologies, and one working on something mindblowingly called "Internet-controlled irrigation."

For those keeping track, we beat out San Jose, Berkeley, Pasadena, and Boston for the top spot.
