Craigslist: Missed Connections

craigslistmcbanner_big.png

We hope that you've recovered from that "holiday" last week. We're so relieved that the flower and card companies can afford to stay in business for another year. We're not sure who would be crazy enough to brave dinner out on such an evening. As far as we're concerned, nothing says love and romance like Best Wurst. Just in case you need some help preparing for next year, we have compiled the best of last week's Missed Connections...

Barnes and Noble flatulence - m4w

We were in the non-fiction aisle. You farted, a bit loud, oops. I kind of laughed, you turned red, rushed off. I thought you were hot regardless of the sounds emanating from your bum. Lets hang out and laugh about it. *Location: Arboretum

Was it was the self help section, cooking perhaps? It certainly wasn't romance, we hope. At least you won't have to get over that hurdle once you start dating.

to the dude in the epoch bathroom

why did you pee all over the floor and all over the seat? didnt your mother teach you that when you cant aim, just sit down? c'mon kids. * Location: heaven

Too much good coffee can do strange things to a man. I guess we'll be getting our espresso to go from now on. Thanks for the heads up, so to speak.

What is up with the clowns?

Has anyone else seen a group of crazy clowns running around Austin? They were at Trixter last week and at Beerland on Monday. Oh yeah, and they have a mime too. Bunch of freaks.

We did see a bunch of clowns running around downtown. They were hanging out with a bunch of snakes who were buying them lunch. We just assumed they were working on something important.

We need - m4w

some change for the jukebox.

Preach it brother, we love the Rock & Roll ourselves.

Kizmeet

We also wanted to point out, if you're looking for some more connections, that you might check out Kizmeet. They have a section just for Austin, and even let you search by different activities. It's a cool alternative to Craigslist for making a connection. Check it out, as far as we're concerned, it's worth looking in as many places as possible.

That's it for this week. If we missed any of your favorites
just post them for us all to view. We'll be back next week with a new
round up. Until then, may you find Peace, Love and
Connections.
