The casserole queens are a delightful pair of entreepreneurs and they really seem to have their shit together... we happen to live in a free enterprise society, it's all good... people like the queens and le marseillais have forced us to work harder and be more creative, it's a win-win for the Austin foodies.

I think it is wonderful that Austin has a community that encourages and sustains folks who love to make food, and who want to make a living doing what they love. I hope that tomorrow the austinist features another site called "the Captain of Quiche" or "the Sausage Pimps" or or something like that. The more the merrier!

Dang, who knew the Soup Peddler had such lame fans? Chill out and try the casseroles before you rant about people stealing the idea for scheduled delivery of prepared foods. Maybe they've got a different style of food? Is more choice bad? I've been gone from Austin for awhile, but it sure has changed alright: Las Manitas is moving, the first comment on a local indie business review is an attack and I even hear the Soup Peddler has a fleet of delivery trucks. This is progress!?

Great idea-- it was thought of a long time ago by www.thesouppeddler.com. Looks like they completely stole his concept and website! I won't be supporting these "queens".
