Senator Barack Obama will be making his second trip to Austin in less than five months, speaking at The Gregory Gym on UT Campus, Friday February 23. Everyone wants to get their hands on this presidential hopeful--University Democrats, African American Cultural Committee and Texans for Obama are all sponsoring the event, billed as one of the first stops on his recently announced campaign trail.
This is a free event, open to the public, but you do have to reserve a spot with a ticket. "Over the next couple days" TexansforObama.com will be announcing the official ticket registration process. To make sure you hear about it first, sign up for their newsletter. Once they announce where and when, we'll let you know.

Same here Ryan Joy. Maybe they never made it to the Ryan's on the list. From the email "ticket" I received, something tells me they won't be checking this at the door and this is just something to get our addresses in their database. Oh well.
