I live and work in 78723, and I can add a couple of other fast food choices. The root beer float at A&W can't be beat, but the rest of the menu is mediocre. Amaya's, while technically on IH-35, does have an entrance on the parking lot adjoining Cameron Road. Both Amaya's and Fran's serve real Texas breakfasts that are delicious and real bargins.

Dude, I take the Cameron Road challenge more often than I should (because of proximity more than anything else). And Hillberts is the aweseomest because they deliver! And have the best milkshakes.

The great thing you can get at Hilbert's is their wheat hamburger bun. I'd take Hilbert's over Franz any day.
