Central Market Warns Texas: This Soda Pop Gives You Glass

Not content allowing rival Whole Foods to monopolize the spotlight after last week's Olive Tapenade fiasco, Central Market is pulling its entire stock of Izze Sparkling Fruit Juice from Texas stores, after a customer in Southlake discovered glass fragments in one of the bottles.

According to the Statesman, while all Izze products have been removed from Central Market shelves, no recall has been announced.

"We believe this is an isolated incident and we're thoroughly investigating this matter," said Meg Heitlinger, a PR manager at Izze. "Consumer safety is our top priority."

Ack! I love Izze! Good thing I bought the cans and not the bottles, I guess.

Does anyone know how to correctly say "Izze"? I love it and I never know what to call it!
