Against My Will by Daniel J. Houston (humdrum collective)
So here’s the thing. There’s this girl. She’s called G for short. She’s kind of having a crisis. Of faith or expression. Not really sure what she’s doing here. She wants her life to mean something for a moment or a billion years. All she has left are her words. But words fail. It’s a sad funny struggle. Like looking in the mirror. Directed by Erin Meyer. St. Nicholas by Conor McPherson (Ken Webster)
In this darkly comic one-man piece about theatre and love by the brilliant Irish playwright Conor McPherson, a theater critic relates tales of his life among the vampires. The Austin Chronicle called it “one hell of a one-man show.”

The Boiler Room by Reuben Gonzalez (Teatro Vivo de Austin)
The Boiler Room invites audiences to witness a family who is on the brink of destruction. They reach that end together. In that moment, they realize that to regain their lives they must empower their strength; like shoveling coal into a roaring boiler.
