Here's a round-up of our favorite posts for late January/first days of February:
- Last week, the Chronic pointed out the irony that the town's famous vegan firefighters are down the street from Bert's Bar-B-Q (where the fire took place a couple weeks ago). We're sure the vegans would have come to the rescue of the Austin institution if their dispatcher had told them in time. . . but that's a whole other post.
- The Classes in Town blog is taking off, and they need your input as far as classes available in Austin.
- Chris at infobong mulls over music in coffeeshops.
- Celluloid Eyes posts on recommended documentaries featuring the late greats Ann Richards and Molly Ivins.
- Matthew O. eats at Musashino and gives his review a punny title.
Random Favorite Blog Site of the Week: We strongly recommend visiting The Texas Observer's collection of tributes to Molly Ivins, including such notables as Dave Barry, Bill Moyers, even "Shrub" and "Gov. Goodhair."

I just wanted to say thanks for the mention and suggestion - the directory and catalog are becoming nicely populated on Austin.ClassesInTown.com, but there's still room for plenty more.
It was exciting to find the site mentioned here!
Ridonkulosity forever!
thanks, E.
