He is undoubtedly Austin's favorite conspiracy theorist. It is claimed that he predicted the attacks of 9/11 in July of 2001. Jones made a similar prediction last August and, according to the Alex Jones Wikipedia entry as of January 25, 2007, when "no such terrorist attacks occurred" Jones "pooped himself he was so happy." This is just another instance of why Wikipedia is great.

Read "Them: Journeys With Extremists" by Jon Ronson. The last fourth of the book features Alex Jones, in the role of extremist. It's a good read that sheds some light on believers in global conspiracy.
