God, I love me some springs. Beautiful. Is it summer yet?

I'd like to see a current video. I doubt it looks that nice underwater anymore

If I had known about that eel 10 years ago there's no way way I would have gone anywhere NEAR the water. Thank goodness for Aquifer development!

Forget summer. Conan is descended from Vikings and English Sea Dogs. Conan's not afraid of any fresh water eel. I've gone swimming with Lemon Sharks, Moray eels and Barracuda off Abaco Cay and Marathon Key. I'm buying a mask, snorkel and fins and going in tommorrow. I had no idea of what was under the surface. Sigh, all those years of going to Deep Eddy just to avoid the frats and yuppie scum.

I'm surprised anything lives in that water, considering Zilker Park was built right over a huge landfill.

Dear Ashley,

The springs pump out water which went in the aquifer out by Circle C (and farther out). Water going into the ground at the "old landfill" goes straight into Town Lake.
