Radio Ghosts by Greg Romero
Commissioned by Austin Script Works. A father tries to speak to his lost son through radio waves. A woman carrying a wool blanket appears and shatters the world. A physician tests his imagination with a patient who continually falls into fires. Using Electronic Voice Phenomenon as inspiration, Radio Ghosts is a multi-layered work that combines live performance and recorded sound, creating a real-time, performative conversation between what is live, what is electronically composed, and what is beyond our imagination. Written by Greg Romero, music by Mike Vernusky, directed by Andrew Merkel, lighting design by Kimberly Cowan, dramaturgy by Genevieve Wiley. Performed by Cody Kirk, Michael Kranes, Fadi Skeiker, and Allison Whittinghill.
Luna Tart Died (of a broken heart) by Laura Freeman.
One woman, one ukulele, one long spiral into despair and loneliness.
Elektra by Will Snider.
A short preview of the long fringe piece of the same name by Gobotrick Theatre Company. Opening January 30th at The Blue Theatre.
La Mexicana Love Life by Jennifer Salazar.
It makes us crazy, happy or miserable. Tales of past and present Mexicanas in love.
Anniversary Special by Bree Perlman.
All’s fair in love and war.
