The CDs Are Coming, The CDs Are Coming!!!

Tomorrow night Emo's Lounge will be hosting a massive jamboree to celebrate the release of Karrie Hopper's new CD An Unusual Move. Hopper's influences range from Rufus Wainwright to Suzanne Vega, though her musical roots in San Antonio involved a seven-piece instrumental group that she's described as "loud and powerful". Interesting to consider that the album was recorded at a lake house over the summer, with instrumentation and lyrics coming in between dips in the water.
The super-folk-a-tron songstress will be joined by Ethan Azarian, Brother Will and Friends (of Brothers and Sisters), and the accident that led me to the world. The strumming and thrashing of acoustic guitars starts at 10PM and said strumming and thrashing will cease only when everyone in attendance has been sufficiently rocked out (or until the bartenders turn on the lights. Come on people, they have families to go home to).
