I was distraught distraught over the breakup, but here I read that John is going to make a new troupe with new things, so I am very happy. I did not realize that Jerm had been substituted for a couple months. Not surprising - he really wasn't very funny, held down the other two.

With all the celebrity break ups happening, it was only a matter of time. What will we do without Sinus? They were an inspiration. Owen was so committed to his craft that even a fall from the rafters during Lost Boys, resulting in a stitch worthy gash , didn’t slow him down. He continued to perform while holding a bloody rag to his head. That is professionalism people!!! ***sniffle sniffle** Good times, good times……

It was a huge bummer when MST3K was cancelled, now Mr. Sinus! Dark day for the Austin comedy scene and definitely a sad day for the Drafthouse...They will be seriously missed and I will be first in line for a reunion show.

I am sorry to hear that one of the most creative Alamo Drafthouse shows has come to an end. The first time I saw Mr. Sinus show was at a packed QuakeCon ballroom in which they nearly tore the roof down in laughter. It was refreshing to have romance, cheesy action and 'Terminator' lines torn apart by a seemingly impromptu method. The Sinus show was synonymous for goofy, creative and unique Austin culture. It became a show that I bragged about and recommended to any open-minded visitor. Will the Drafthouse ever be the same? Let us hope Master Pancake Theatre can continue to capture the loyal Sinus fans. Ben
