City of Austin is currently looking for works by local artists for their 2007 "People's Gallery" Austin City Hall Exhibition, meant to "showcase regional artistic endeavors and to encourage public dialogue, understanding and enjoyment of visual art." Their requirements are fairly broad (acceptable works include "2-dimensional and 3-dimensional, installation and digitally-created art"), so anyone even remotely interested would do well to apply.
Read over the Call for Artwork before submitted via their online application system. The deadline to apply is this Friday.
