Water Main Break Downtown

City crews are working on a water main break this morning and traffic is being diverted from Bowie Street between 5th and 6th Streets. If you are going to be driving in that area, keep that in mind. Even though today is generally a low-traffic day, driving around this part of town probably won't be much fun until the work is done.

12:30 update: Whole Foods downtown location is now closed for the day because of the water main break.

OLE JUB WENT DOWN TO SEE IF HE COULD GET HIS FIRST BATH OF THE SEASON IN THE NICE COOL CLEAN WATER (SURE BEATS EAST TOWN LAKE THAT IS FOR SURE), BUTT THE CREWS WERE THE WORKING OVERTIME. I TRIED TO BRIBE ONE OF THEM WITH A LITTLE XMASS MOJO...HOWEVER THEY WANTED NO PART.

I GUESS ILL HAVE TO WALK BACK TO THE UT FOUNTAIN. SIGH.
