Austin City Store Opens, Forgets to Include Commemorative Breakfast Taco Lapel Pins

That Austin City Store we told you about a few weeks ago finally opened last Friday, just in time for you last-minute stragglers to pick up a few local tchotckes for your out-of-town friends.
We thought they'd be peddling sweet, sweet wares made by hometown artists and artisans, given that they were adamant about "positively promot[ing] City of Austin services" through locally-made products. Instead, a quick browse through their website turned up the following lackluster offerings:

From left to right: State Capitol mug, City-branded marital aide thermos, City-branded stuffed dog (?), and Austin snow globe. We probably don't need to point out the irony of that last one.
Of course, we're sure that the actual store inventory encompasses many more "unique items" than the regional airport trinkets above, but we'll let you scope it out and clue us in.
The Austin City Store is open six days a week, Monday through Saturdays. Check their website for store hours.
