- Who said student activism is dead? Remember when we told you earlier about how the students who study past 2am held a sit-in (peacefully) demanding longer library hours? Yesterday, the university announed that, starting in the Spring, the FAC will be open 24 hours.
- One of the hundred-or-so bills filed for the next Texas Legislature will tackle locked-in four-year tuition rates.
- For a minimum contribution of $2,000 (in addition to the price of the season tickets) you can gain access to the North End Zone Club, likely to be the epicenter of near-comotose alumni and annoying kids running around in circles throwing Nerf footballs.
- Three Lambda Phi Epsilon fraternity members were indicted yestereday for the 2005 death of a fellow fraternity brother who died after he was forced to drink very, very large amounts of alcohol.
- Meanwhile, the investigation into the death of a Sigma Alpha Epsilon member who fell off a University Towers balcony is still on-going, but it is now known that he did attend a party at the fraternity house the morning of his death.
