Tom DeLay Moves Into Parents' Basement, Starts Blog

delaybanner.jpgMovie critics, quilters, environmentalists, these types. The blog landscape is packed with these niche bloggers. Well, you can add former exterminators cum failed politicians with dubious pasts to the long list of those on the internets. Former US Representative Tom DeLay has started a blog. Glory be! Finally the voice of reason comes to Al Gore’s invention.

[excerpted TomDelay.com]

Over the course of my political life I have learned many things, one of which is that not all good ideas come from Washington, D.C.. In fact I think that most of the best ideas come from concerned citizens from all over the United States. (Ed. Note: Yea, like the idea to vote the Republicans out of the majority in Congress.)

TomDeLay.com is the product of our latest effort to find new ways to connect, unite and organize conservatives from all over America into a real grassroots political force.
I am both extremely excited and energized by this opportunity to meet with you here, in the online marketplace of ideas. I look forward to working in collaboration, not competition, with all those who already use blogs as a way to fight against - and present an alternative - to the liberal media bias.

We are sure you will find DeLay’s forthcoming review of the recent Fall Out Boy concert extremely engaging.
