As you've already hopefully noticed, we've had a little work done this past weekend. Namely, our template's been updated from the old, circa-2003 three-column format to today's, ahem, girthier two-column spread.
Yes, there may be a few kinks left to work out. Please bear with us if the site looks a little wonky on occasion. As always, we'd love it if you'll contact us with suggestions or complaints.
Fret not, veteran readers: while our look may have cleaned up a bit, you can still count on us for hard-hitting "journalistic" "coverage" of important stuff.
Like kickass breakfast tacos and pictures of pretty people.
We'd also like to take this moment to remind you of the following:
- Tag any flickr photos you'd like to share with our readers with "austinist."
- Tag any flickr photos you'd like us to use in posts with "austinist_stock."
- Be our friend on MySpace
- Find something nifty on the web that's relevant for our readers? Tag it in del.icio.us with "for:austinist"
- Leave us an anonymous tip here. It's easy and quick!

Looks pretty, but I miss the "Recent Comments" section also revealing how many total comments each article's received. I'm pretty sure it used to do this...
Super awesome! Thanks NYC!
I love how the new logo changes with the weather conditions. Nifty!
I am pretty sure "kickass breakfast tacos" is an oxymoron.
get over it
Well done. clap clap. Keep up the good work!
I liked being able to click on the "Ist List" at the top left. Please bring that back.
