Bliss Out at Red's Scoot Inn Tomorrow

Red's Scoot Inn may be headed into forced retirement in the not too distant future, but that hasn't kept them from hosting great shows. This Saturday, head over to the East Side and soak up some of the last music you might hear at the fabled venue. The first installment of the Bliss Out series will be there featuring a hearty chunk of Austin's vibrant, genre-spanning scene, and our sources have confirmed that you will dance your ass off.

Acts include: The Serious Daters, with their lovestruck sugar-pop, the "apocalypto-electro-rock" sounds of Operator, fearlessly jazz-tastic sound cadets STHIL, and shoegazer extraordinares MeJetAirliner. Stay Gold will tie up the loose ends and keep things moving at the DJ dock.

Get thee to Red's, Austin!

Didn't Reds Scoot Inn get bought by the fellas who own Long Branch? I think there are plans to convert it into a more traditional music venue as well.
