Any new recordings that we can expect soon in the form of a new full
length?
Steve Kille: We are re-releasing our early catalog as well as in and out of the studio making a new Matador record.
Jason Simon: We just finished tracking in an 1860's pioneer travelers lodge in Indiana.
How has the relationship with Matador Records been?
Steve Kille: Great, they are music collectors that is always helpful.
Any thoughts or anecdotes from the current tour with Wolfmother?
Steve Kille: Lots of new faces.
Jason Simon: This tour has strengthened my resolve to keep up the good fight, if you know what I mean. Our sound man was the victim of a either a hit and run or the Wendigo. We turned the van around for 3 minutes and upon our return he was a bloody mess. It was fucked up. He is healing and he is still rocking the desk.

What is Dead Meadow's favorite festival?
Steve Kille: We have had some great times at the ATP in the UK.
What is Dead Meadow's favorite act to tour with?
Jason Simon: Anything that keeps a laid back vibe going. It doesn't seem to be an easy thing for bands to do these days ‘cause so many are so uptight. They kick in and I almost start to bug out. Please bands, keep it chill.
What artists are currently playing in the band's tour bus?
Jason Simon: Bob Marley, The Dead, Townes Van Zandt, The Everything..
