What's On TV This Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving: a time for celebrating family, eating food, and of course, watching TV. Well, we're here to recommend some options:

The given: "Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade", 9am, NBC/KXAN.

The random: Twelve hours of Doris Day films on TCM, starting at 5am.

Pigs at Thanksgiving?: Babe on NBC/KXAN, 2pm.

Katie pre-TomKat: One of our favorite Thanksgiving films, Pieces of April, is on IFC at 4:15pm.

What Not to Wear on Thanksgiving: What Not to Wear on all day starting at 5am on BBCAmerica.

A decent reality show about family: Little People, Big World in a seven-hour block on TLC starting at 5pm.

And of course, the football:
- Miami at Detroit, 11:30am on KEYE/CBS.
- Tampa Bay and Dallas, 3:30pm on KTBC/FOX.

Thanksgiving Night:

Spiderman 2, 7pm on KTBC/FOX.

Elf, 7pm on USA. "Santa's coming! I know him!"

KVUE/ABC is showing their regular programming, with an ep of Ugly Betty at 7pm and a super-sized (by 10 minutes) episode of Grey's Anatomy at 8pm.

Happy Turkey Day!
