Whoa there, Emo's Lounge! You've had some big shoes to fill with your big, hip brother right next door, but you've done well for yourself. We remember when you were knee-high to a shot bar, and now here you are all growed up, hosting great bands and getting people soused like its your job. Which it is. Tonight, especially, is a red letter date for you. You'll be hosting four superb pop-rock bands all by your widdle lonesome. The Hush Sound, a piano-heavy quartet that owes as much to Ben Folds as they do to top 40 radio, has kicked up a lot of dust on their current tour whilst promoting their new album, Like Vines. Just one listen and you wonder how soon its gonna be before these kids to show up on the charts. Supporting acts include the decidedly more dark, Tom Waits-esque Murder By Death, pop revelations This Is Me Smiling, and Killers-cum-Emo This Providence.
