I've seen frozen mud puddles with more skating surface than that place. besides, it wasn't really ice, it looked more like a cone of shaved ice was spilled when I saw it.

It's a great idea and great location/view. But the corner of the deck that they set the rink up on is just too small. It's like ice skating in your bathtub with 25 children.

Last year the ice was very rugged and rather hard to actually skate on. It was more like an Ice "Scoot" rink. Don't expect much but crowds of snotty teenagers and adults falling on their asses. -call me humbug stick #2

wow dadgum. you are this seasons first humbug stick in the ice. do you sit and fart on your kids for christmas instead of giving gifts?

Has anyone pointed out the gross inefficiencies of cooling a large block of ice in the middle of Texas? How much electricity will be wasted on this? News flash: Texas is not NYC -- usually, the weather is not cold enough for water to freeze here.
