Craigslist: Missed Connection Monday

We hope you had a great weekend, there was certainly plenty to keep you busy. Is it Monday already? It goes by so much faster when there isn't any college football to watch. What, there was a game? We don't believe that we remember anything Saturday night, surely we would have remembered. Well, either way, another weekend has flown by and it's time for the best of last week's Missed Connections...

You slipped right through my fingers...

I was with my buddy Jamaal tonight. We were the guys dressed in white. You were the one with the dark brown skin and I think your last name was Wilson. You were there, and we both danced with you quite a bit. But for some reason, we never could keep ahold of you. Then there was that guy in purple who kept cutting in and carrying you away. We both would love another chance to meet up. Hey, if you're ever in Austin... ~Selvin * this is in or around Manhattan, KS

This sounds like the worst missed connection ever. Like it could have been avoided if someone had just gotten up off their rear and done something about it. A total meltdown from our perspective, at least it seems that way from reading the above. I can certainly see how this could have driven us someone to drink.

Dear Texas

I love you Texas, i wish i was there, wish i could live there, but im stuck in canada, I do think about you every day, and one day will be with you. But i need a green card since im canadian, smart thing making it hard for us canadians to come, really though i dont like canada or canadians so im glad its going to be hard. you're worth it though.

We feel ya. You are completely correct, Texas does rock and Canada does suck. Well not really. Canada doesn't suck, but Austin is a lot less sucky than most of Canada. Good luck getting back! We'll drink a shiner and have some queso for ya'll.

Office flirting - damn my secret. - m4w

We've worked together for a long time - you're always fun to talk to. I wish we could be more than co-workers, more than friends. We have good times together, we look great together, and we have so much in common. But I have herpes. And I can't admit that to you. And I won't put you at risk. So we'll just stay friends. But know that I will always think of you as so much more. Thank you for being you - you brighten every day! * this is in or around Secretsville

Dang! we knew there was a reason that the chick in the office wouldn't make out with us. At least now we know it wasn't us.

bladder infection: cranberry vs. uristat - w4w

You were buying cranberry pill things for your bladder infection. I told you to try uristat, and realized later I might have embarrassed you talking about your bladder problems in public, so I'm sorry if I did, although I hope I didn't. Just wanted to put that out there. * this is in or around whole foods 5th and lamar

People handing out unsolicited medical advice in the grocery store is creepy? Then just call us Dr. Creepy. We're not a doctor, but we play one on the interweb.

the cutest baristas in town - w4m

Teo's at Parmer & 35, has the cutest (and nicest) baristas in town. i'm just sayin'.
if i were ten years younger... well, okay, fifteen... um, maybe even 20... *sigh*
oh yeah, and the coffee's great too.

We thought we'd help with this shout out to Teo's. It's not just that location, the 38th Street location is awesome as well.

That's it for this week. If we missed any of your favorites
just post them for us all to view. We'll be back next week with a new
round up. Until then, may you find Peace, Love and
Connections.
