Art From the Streets Show This Weekend

Although Art From the Streets has had their show and sale benefitting the homeless for 14 years now, last year was the first time we visited the show (after reading about it here). We were stunned by the amount of great works available for purchase. We had already paid for two abstract paintings (one by John Monbelly and one by Stacy) when we realized there was a whole room full of art we had missed.
We're eager to see the diverse selection available this year. There is something for everybody at the annual show: portraits, abstracts, landscapes, digital photography and more. Last year's show and sale raised more than $80,000 through sales and donations.
Added note: Downtown, KLRU's program focusing on downtown Austin, recently won an Emmy for their second season segment on Austin's Art From the Streets program.
