STHIL at Chain Drive Tonight

STHIL is Jenn Leathers and Joel Irdbisa, a duo self-described as "electronic indie pop with pseudo funk and jazz influences". Sounds about right. Their new album Beyond the Reach of the Satellite Feeds is an ambitious musical debut, undeniably danceable and unabashedly intelligent. Their website claims that live, the pair covers Boards of Canada and "a cappella Misfits." If you're not intrigued by that possibility, you have no sense of musical adventure whatsoever and are surfing the wrong website, my friend.

Tonight, go to the Chain Drive to check them out and be reminded that Austin not only produces great rock and country bands, but has some shining examples of other genres as well.
