Well, damn. Jonathon. I can't disagree with a single word you said. I'm not sure WHY I expected to disagree with what you had to say about HYEBA --- possibly it had something to do with our differences re: Red Cans --- but such was my expectation, nonetheless. Which just goes to show me. Your perception of this show was the same as mine and you rendered it precisely in print without the sentimental cheerleaderishness that I sometimes fall prey to (especially, yeah, where that dreamy R. Beegle is concerned). What a fine service for readers of the Austinist who might want to catch a show but don't want to go in blind. Good on ya, boyo.
