Austinist Preview & Giveaway: Witchcraft at The Parish

witch.jpgToday is the day that all you ghouls and ghosties have been waiting for, like Christmas for those of us who worship at the altar of fake wounds, zombies and pirate costumes. That's right, its Halloween, the most liminal time of the year, and what better way to celebrate the magic of All Hallows' Eve than with our good friends the Swedish retrodoompsychfolk band Witchcraft! Channeling the spirits of acts like Black Sabbath and Pentagram, tonight's séance of underground 70's rock should be just the right reason to avoid braving the 6th street hordes of flesh eating philistines for the umpteenth year in a row to see yet another variation of the slutty (insert profession here) costume. To help you out of your Halloween rut we here at the Zombieist, we mean, uh, Austinist, are doing you a favor and giving away a pair of tickets to the show. Seriously, how often do you get to see a retrodoompsychfolk band? That's what we thought.

Would you like to go? We thought so:
