Scary Movies to Get You in the Mood
Some people choose to spend their Halloween hopped up on the ol' boozendrugs, running dementedly through the warehouse district dressed up like Papa Smurf. Some like to go traditional, choosing to dress up and trick-or-treat with the kids.
Others prefer to spend Halloween attempting to rekindle their youth my scaring the shit out of themselves with a horror movie.
Tonight and tomorrow offer a bevy of some classics and one or two lesser-known gems guaranteed to spook ya or at least give you a good reason to grab your date’s arm in feigned shock as you try and cop a feel. If you don't like the films listed below, we hear Man of the Year will be in theatres for another 15 minutes or so. That one looks pretty damn scary.
While we’re on the subject, can you think of any genuinely scary movies? We always were partial to The Shining, but maybe that’s only due to its striking resemblance to our childhood.
