- Smoking is BAD. You should quit. Attend the four-session Quitters Stop Smoking Class held every Friday starting Oct. 27 at noon. Sign up at SSB 1.106. Or, if you're not into group work pick up your Do-It-Yourself packet. Space is limited!

Hollywood film series. - UT Halloween provides a safe place for your little goblins this Sunday, Oct. 29 with a chemistry circus, haunted house and a cauldron full of otherworldly adventures at the Frank Erwin Center. Don't have kids, but feeling philanthropic? Donate candy at main campus, next to the tower.
- Congratulations! According to the Austin Police Department, the university had its 2nd completely Crime Free Day (not even one drunk driver) of the semester yesterday.
