For VICE Guide to Travel, various correspondents from the magazine were sent off to explore some of the world's more exotic and dangerous destinations. The seven documentary shorts follow them as they hunt for radioactive wolves in Chernobyl, discover the remnants of Elisabeth Nietzsche's failed Aryan paradise in South America, and look for a fabled lake monster deep in the Congo. Some of the footage is hilarious; most of it, downright shocking. And, as befits Vice, half of the correspondents are either smashed or hungover during most of it.
Along with PartyEnds, Hi.Wine, Waterloo Records, and the Drafthouse, we're sponsoring a free screening of the DVD at the Alamo Drafthouse Lake Creek on November 2nd. We'll be on hand to give out free swag.
