I'm for 4!

In its six years of existence, Austin Studios has become a hallmark of the creative environment of the Third Coast. Home to countless film productions, the studios offer an attractive alternative to those looking to make films outside of the chintzy glare of Hollywood.

But Austin Studios needs some help. Come election day this November, you can add your voice to the cause. Proposition 4 is one of seven propositions up for bond consideration. The City of Austin sells bonds to pay for major investments in city facilities and infrastructure. These bonds, which are repaid with future property tax revenue, must be approved by voters before being sold. Learn more about the bonds here.

This Saturday, head over to Austin Studios to celebrate their 6th Anniversary and rally behind support of Proposition 4 at their I'm for 4 party. You can wine and snack with others interested in supporting the Creative Economy of Austin, while listening to advocates of Prop. 4 discuss the benefits of the bond package.

There will be yumminess provided by Chocolate Bar, EZ's, Hoover's, Johnny Bean Coffee, Pink Avocado, Texas Culinary Academy.
